Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

Located northeast of Tortola, Virgin Gorda is the second largest island in the British Virgin Islands. At 10 miles long and two miles wide, the island contains a small protruding mountain, which is what gives Virgin Gorda its name. Many vacationers visit Virgin Gorda to see The Baths, a beautiful area on the southern coast boasting immense, natural boulders that form pools of clear water, perfect for snorkeling and swimming.

The British Virgin Islands are a collection of over 60 islands (16 are inhabited). Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke are the four principal islands.
