St. Thomas - BeachesMagen's Bay BeachLocated on the North End of St. Thomas near Peterborg, Magen's Bay is a popular beach tucked between two mountains just three miles north of Charlotte Amalie. Follow a hiking trail from the beach to Little Magen's Bay for a less inhabited, clothing-optional beach. Concessions, water sports, changing facilities and a beach bar are all available. The beach is open from 6am-6pm. Water IslandLocated just off the coast of St. Thomas and its main harbor is lovely Water Island. About 150 residents of the island commute to and from St. Thomas via ferry or their own small boat. Honeymoon Bay is located just down from the ferry dock. This is a great place to get away from the crowds of St. Thomas and enjoy a more remote beach location. Snorkeling is good here, too, so be sure to bring your gear! |
